Candidates intending to run must notify the Summer Village of Itaska Beach via email at info@itaska.ca with the Notice of Intent Form.
Once confirmed by the SV of Itaska Beach, the name of the candidate will be included on the Register of Candidates and posted publicly in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.
Candidates can begin accepting campaign contributions and incurring expenses ONLY AFTER the Notice of Intent is completed.
Note: the Notice of Intent is a new requirement under the legislation and differs from the nomination process.

The Summer Village is required to maintain a register of candidates who have given notice to run. The register will be publicly available on this website until Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
